MID-MICHIGAN BEEKEEPERS CLUB HAS A NEW MEETING PLACE
OTISVILLE COMMUNITY CENTER 130 E. MAIN STREET. OTISVILLE MI48463
Not quite 5 miles north of our old meeting place of Richfield Township Hall.

Take M-15 from Davison north of the old meeting hall about 5 miles of so go to the second stop light that will be in Otisville. Turn right and were right on the right hand side. It will be a brown and green building. If your coming from Vassar you will stop second light that will be Otisville and your will turn left and it will be on your right hand side as well.

We have a much bigger place and tables to sit at and take notes, hold your coffee.
Our last meetiing we had a great turn out and I look forward to having more join.

July 20th MBA Picnic The picnic will be held Saturday, July 20 from 10am to 6pm at the Oren Best Farm, 14688 Shilton Rd. Lake Odessa, MI 48890 (click here for a map). Sunfield is located just west of Lansing.

Join us at Oren Best’s commercial beekeeping operation and see how a large honey producing farm works. Activities and tours of the operation will be had.

Please bring a dish to pass, along with table settings, and maybe a lawn chair. Meat will be provided (rumor is that the Best’s are roasting a pig).

Bring a smoker and your favorite smoker fuel and join in on the smoker lighting contest! Forklift rodeo demonstrations will also take place.

Primitive camping for tents, trailers and RVs will be available, and a bonfire is slated for the evening.

The picnic is free to all MBA members and open to all beekeepers and people interested in bees.
