Mid-Michigan Beekeepers Club Meeting June 6th
Hello Fellow Beekeepers,

This Thursday, June 6th is our club meeting, held at the Otisville Community Center 130 E. Main St. Otisville MI. Doors open at 6:30p.m. meeting starts at 7:00p.m.

If any one has a picture of them working with their bees please bring a picture to the June and July 11th meeting. I would like to make a picture book of our club and what area you keep your bees. I thought that would draw new people into beekeeping during our honey festival in July and our fall and spring conference meetings.

Also if you have your cages, Dave Anthony will be there to collect all bee cages, before the meeting and after the meeting.

Our speaker tonight will be Rich Wiske, presentation will be other product of the hive, Pollen, Propolis and Wax. Rich has been beekeeping for many years and he has many area of knowledge and plenty of topics he can share with us.

We will also need help with the Clubs table at the honey festival July 27th . I am committed to two places the same day and different times. Please get with me and lets get who and when by the next meeting settled.

Elections for officers for our club will be coming up in August if any one interested in any position please see me at the meeting.

Current officers for our club are: President-----------Barb Applebee
Vice President----Greg Tobin
Treasurer------------Wilda Dodder
Secretary----------- resigned
Member at Large:
Jim Withers
Brad Perez

Just a reminder our July meeting will be held on the 11th due to the 4th of July fall on our meeting night. Also Remember that August 10th is our club picnic held behind the old meeting place Richfield Township hall pavillion, grill starts at noon eat at 1:00p.m. there will be a white elephant auction so please bring a brown bag gift something old, new not too expensive. A dish to pass and the club will furnish the meat and drinks and place settings.

If any one has any queens please let me know, I have a few beekeepers looking for some.

Thank you and have a great week.
