Good Afternoon Fellow Beekeepers:

Now is the time to start feeding your bees to help build for the winter
months ahead. Everyone has their own preference for the winter; whether
it be newspaper and bag of sugar, candy board, candy pollen patty. Each beekeeper has their own way they feel it is right.

A reminder that our MBA (Michigan Beekeepers Association) Fall Conference is this week. The classes and speakers are amazing and very
helpful to beekeepers. If you would like to see more the schedule should be final by Wednesday and posted on the MBA website:

www.michiganbees.org

upper left corner you will see Fall Conference click on that and all the information will appear. You can get a small paraphrase on what the class holds. Also there will be an MBA meeting of all beekeepers, voting will be taking place by ballot until noon Saturday. Absent tee ballots should be available on the MBA website and should be received by Wednesday the latest.

Update on Wilda Dodder, founder of our Club. Wilda is doing good, up and around on her own and is ready for visitors. Please call ahead of time to make sure she is not in PT. Medi Lodge of Montrose 810-639-6171.

Mid Michigan Beekeepers Club Meeting is November 5th guest speaker is waiting to be confirmed. I will send out an email after this weekend with the additional information. We will have an update of the fall conference, and any changes made to the MBA office and by laws. Look forward to seeing you next week.
