[b]Uncapping knifeWould [/b]you mind forwarding this message to the other members of the club letting them know that I have an uncapping knife I would like to sell. It is a brand new Pierce electric uncapping knife with variable heat control - item number HD-415 in the Fall 2010 Mann Lake catalog.

I just got it and began to use it to uncap a frame of honey. I did less than half of one side of the frame before realizing I actually preferred using my manual knife. The electric knife is clean and sharp and brand new. I have included a picture as an attachment to this note. I paid $119.95, but will sell it for $90 to avoid having to return it and pay restocking and shipping charges.

I will have it at this Thursday's meeting - if it does not sell by then, I will send it back. If anyone is interested, and needs it before Thursday, they can reach me at 810-252-3300.

MID-MICHIGAN BEEKEEPRS ANNUAL PICNIC is this SATURDAY July 31, 2010 at 12:00p.m.

The club will be furnishing the meat and drinks, and table settings. We will be playing a few games after we eat and have a white elephant auction of the brown bagged gift we brought. We may be having a few raffles too. Face painting for the kids.

Please take the time and come join in our fun. We will be at the Richfieild Center Pavillion behind our meeting place. Look forward to seeing all of you this Saturday.

HI HONEY...............

Just a reminder our Beekeepers’ Meeting will be this Thursday June 3rd at 7:00 p.m. @ the Richfield Center Hall. We will have a full agenda this meeting.

One Topic I would like to ask is about ordering bee plants from Faber’s. I would encourage everyone to attend if anyone else is interested about the plants see me.

We will also be discussing our July Meeting which will be a family meeting and a potluck picnic.

I believe Don Schram will be talking on his Queen bearing class. I also believe we will be raffling off some cream honey donated by Bob Hollis.
