Place in double boiler, never put direct over direct heat
When its melts and blends with the oil, you can add Vitamins.
I use 1 teaspoon Vitamin E and 10 Vitamin softgels.(I use a needle
to puncture the softgel and squeeze it into the blend).

Last you add the scent you want. Tonight I used Spearmint & Lemon Oil.
This can be used for the skin care and lip balm too. All of these ingredients

Happy New Year,
At tonights bee club meeting we will have a special presentation by Wilda Dodder on making skin care products featuring bees wax. This is a great project for beekeepers to take advantage of another wonderful product given to us by our bees.

Also, I just received a call from Dave Anthony of Anthony Bee Farms informing me the he and his partners Leo Stevens and Ed Wracan will be joining us for tonights meeting. For those of you that don't know Dave, he is the past-president of the Michigan Beekeepers Association.

They will have information on ordering bees this year and I intend to take advantage of the opportunity to ask them questions about their wintering and spring start up techniques. So if, like me, you are tired of listening to me talk, this is a great opportunity to hear from someone who really does know what they are talking about! Hope to see you there.
