I would use a wasp spray that you spray directly on the nest. DO NOT use anything like sevin dust. Or anything that your honeybees could get into and take back to the hive. Whenever I have yellow jackets in a place which is a nuisance the wasp spray is what I use and have had good results without harming my bees. I sprayed one yellow jacket nest that was withing 20 feet of my hive and had no problems for my bees. It was, however, an extreme problem for the yellow jackets.
